Marijuawa

This series presents soft sculptures based on cannabis plants and smoking devices—bongs of various forms and strains of marijuana drawn from real cultivars.

By translating these often-stigmatized objects into soft, tactile forms, I aim to soften not only their material presence, but also the hard lines of moral judgment that surround them. Each cannabis leaf, each bong design, reflects both the cultural diversity and the personal preferences embedded in cannabis use.

This work is not an endorsement of use, but rather an invitation to reconsider the possibilities of regulation and decriminalization.
When brought into public discourse through legislation, cannabis shifts from a binary of right and wrong to a more nuanced conversation about risk, access, and health.

These soft objects cannot be smoked—but they can be seen, touched, and perhaps, quietly considered.

這個系列以大麻植物與煙具為造型基礎，創作出一組柔軟的雕塑物件。

我關注的是：當一個長期被污名化的植物與其使用方式，被轉化為溫和、無攻擊性的形式時，是否能打開更多對話的可能？每一株大麻都來自真實的品種與葉型，每一只 bong 也根據不同結構設計，保留了文化上的多樣性與個人選擇的意識。

這些作品並非對「使用」的鼓吹，而是對「合法化可能性」的呼籲。當我們將某種行為從地下帶入制度管理，它不再只是是非的二元判斷，而是一場關於風險、權利與醫療的公共對話。

我希望這些柔軟的植物與煙具，能成為進入討論的起點──它們無法被點燃，卻可以被看見、被靠近，並在觀看中打開對認知的再思考。
