Begining with familiar objects—such as lucky cats and batteries—items often regarded as purely functional, quietly occupying the background of daily life. Through the transformation of soft materials and the intervention of handcraft, they are repositioned as subjects of attention and perception. Stripped of their original hardness and utility, these objects become something to be touched, approached, and felt.

Loewe Paula’s Ibiza Taiwan Night Market
Loewe
Year : 2024
Organizers : LOEWE
Curator : JL DESIGN
Co-curator :

As part of the LOEWE Paula's Ibiza Night Market event, I created a series of plush objects inspired by familiar elements from Taiwanese street culture. Darts, mosquito coils, and brooms—common sights in night markets—are reinterpreted in soft sculptural forms, capturing the surreal yet nostalgic sensibility of everyday street life. These objects are integrated into the exhibition landscape, serving both as visual details and quiet moments of interaction, inviting viewers to reconsider the overlooked symbols of their surroundings.
